What kind of events can you plan for me?
I plan any kind of gathering! Some past events I have planned are: staff appreciation week, conferences, reunions, field days, staff outings, fundraisers, and grand reopenings. I also provide day-of coordination for any event, including weddings.
Why does my small business need an event?
Events benefit your business in a couple of ways:
1. A staff gathering boosts morale and strengthens your team.
2. You can also position an event to boost sales or visibility of your brand or company.

Will you travel?
I will travel! Please note that the federal mileage rate is charged to the client.
How much are your services and how do you bill?
I charge $40/hour for my services. Part of the agreement made at the beginning of the process includes a non-refundable deposit. That amount is TBD depending on the project. If you book with me more than 3 months ahead of time (this is preferred for large events), I will bill you each month leading up to the event. In addition, I will bill for day-of services the day after the event. Payment is expected within 10 business days of receiving the invoice.
Do you do marketing for events?
Marketing services are provided only for events that I plan. These services include flyer or invitation design and social media creation and distribution.
I recently planned my first ever event at Golden Artist Colors. Having never planned an event before, I was a little nervous, but let me say that working with Chelsea from Home Town Events was such a pleasure! She had great ideas, an amazing eye for decorating and really helped guide me along as we planned the event together. I can’t wait to work with Chelsea again on other company events. I recommend her very highly.
